Chicago Here We Come!!!

The Grahams are officially moving to Chicago this August. Dave was accepted to Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and offered a partial scholarship. He will be attending the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. We will actually be living in North Chicago on the shore of Lake Michigan. It is about 40 minutes north of downtown Chicago. We are so excited and a bit nervous about embarking on this new adventure. Here are a few pictures of Dave's trip to the school.

The Month of October

Steve came to visit for General Conference. The Graham boys looked quite stunning for the Priesthood Session. Thanks Steve for coming to see us. We had so much fun...although we still want to know what you were up to that last night! Steve and Dave have matching shirts and shoes. They coordinated these outfits for a visit to the Sweeney's. They thought they were pretty funny...who wears the outfit the best? Dave was very focused on carving his pumpkin...I must say his pumpkin was very creative.

Dave was so focused on his pumpkin that I had to take a picture of my pumpkin and me by myself. Well, it wasn't picture perfect.

Dodo's Birthday

Mimi gave Dave the best present of all! He loved it! Of course, he also loved his new shoes.

We had a birthday party

with just a few of our best friends. It was a nice way to end a very busy day!

It's about time....for a new post.

Kevin Danny came for a quick visit and took us out for dinner. It was so much fun having some family around. We miss all the big Smith/Jones family get togethers.

Kev brought his good friend Bob. They were hilarious together.

The Hales family came to Provo for the BYU football game. We enjoyed a little tailgate party before the game. Look at these devout BYU fans!Cosmo and the boys!It's our last BYU football season as students. We are trying to live it up this last year.We enjoyed the BYU Homecoming fireworks with the Monahans.

Ward Campout

Kenna and I went on a campout with our ward. It was pretty fun and very beautiful. As you can see our tent looked out over the lake. Can't beat that!

4th of July

We camped out for the 4th of July parade on University Avenue. That is the only way to get good seats. People started saving their spots on the first!!! Goes to show that there is not a whole lot of excitement in Provo.

Grandma Hales is too good to us! Not only did she make us a beautiful quilt for our wedding, but we got matching pillows in the mail this week! Thanks Grandma!
